After more than twenty years as HR Director of several big companies, he accepted the challenge of becoming a Board Member of a handling airport services enterprise with responsibility for Operations, HR, IT & Commercial - becoming one of the first HR Directors to get this “upgrade” in Portugal. Throughout his career, he received several awards and distinctions.
In academic terms, he recently obtained the degree of Doctor (PhD) in Economy and Finance Applied to Companies (Madrid), complementing his previous academic background in Sociology of Employment (Master) and Educational Sciences (BSc).
At the same time, he develops a higher education teaching activity in Management, Leadership and Human Resource Management; and is often a guest speaker at national and international conferences and seminars.
President of the Portuguese People Management Association (APG) , Member of the Strategic Council of the Brazilian Human Resources Association (ABRH Brasil) and Embassador of the Diretivos de Capital Humano (DCH Portugal).
